Technology for Planetary Defense 👨‍🚀

Following my last project of space safeguarding for #PlanetaryDefense I’ve implemented with an old project a web interface that paints the vastness of space right on our screens. Here, two Earths coexist, twirling in the void, their distances measured and monitored for #SpaceExploration

Every millimeter between them is captured, computed, and sent as a #RealTimeData streaming event, which then cascades into a distributed cached Database for a quick access, storing the spatial data with an associated risk level. This isn’t just a fancy dashboard; it’s a digital sentinel, a watchtower in the cosmos, where risk assessment is but a click away.

This integration of 3D visualization with real-time data processing personifies my solitary crusade in the digital universe. Each Kafka event is a potential asteroid deflected, each Redis entry a disaster deterred.

Deployed using #Kubernetes, this system simulates a production environment where messages are processed and stored with high efficiency and low latency. The integration of Minikube and K9s adds an additional layer of sophistication, allowing for a smooth and insightful development experience.

Using computational physics and advanced algorithms, I’ve implemented a system that not only visualizes the trajectory of potentially dangerous objects in space but also calculates the distance between these and our planet. This system is based on precise calculations of movement vectors and uses modern web technologies to create interactive and educational simulations.

As the lone sentinel of this digital observatory, I blend the art of programming with the science of celestial surveillance. It’s not just about the «what ifs» of space hazards—it’s about the «what’s next.» #TechnologyInnovation
